BAM! Great reasons to try these.
And for the nursing mothers…. You HAVE TO MAKE THESE!
I started making these 2 years ago. When my littlest came, I was determined to breastfeed since the twins weren’t able to. A few weeks after nursing Shiloh, my breast milk production started decreasing. New born baby and twin 20 month olds running around. Endless house chores, laundry, the need to keep your littles alive. Mothers, you understand! I had no time for a shower, no time to eat, not time PERIOD! In addition, I was exhausted and wasn’t sleeping. I needed help, need to eat better, need to increase milk production, and need something quick! That’s how these choco-nut energy bites were created. All the ingredients in these are also milk boosters!

Cute little fingers. My toddlers couldn’t wait to get into these
This recipe is very versatile. Sometimes I add cinnamon to the mix. If you don’t like almond butter or Nutella, then add more peanut butter. Replace honey with agave nectar. Add more oats instead of coconut flour. Add chopped dried fruits…. Anything goes.
And if you’re not nursing, but needing a boost of energy and to satisfy that chocolate craving, these choco-nut bites will take care of that too!
To store, just place the balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for up to a month. My family usually devour these within the week.
